Pontiac AC Condenser

The AC condenser is a part of the cooling system of the Pontiac vehicle wherein
it provides the cabin a cold, fresh air when the air conditioning system is used.
This device is typically mounted and found at the front of the radiator in which
it acquires the benefit of cooler air that is flowing through the grille. It also
uses the air that is provided by the fan to cool the refrigerant.
As the extremely pressurized refrigerant liquid from the evaporator flows into
the Pontiac AC condenser, the air that is rushing through the coils of the condenser
cools this liquid refrigerant. The cool liquid passes through the expansion valves
wherein it flows back to the evaporator. This cooling process is repeated again
and again until the refrigerant cools. The Pontiac AC condenser has 2 hoses that
are connected from both ends of the device. One of the hoses is used for the incoming
highly pressurized liquid coolant and the other is for the outgoing highly pressurized
coolant refrigerant.
And like other components, Pontiac AC condenser is also vulnerable to damages
caused by foreign object coming inside the grille. These foreign objects may be
in the form as small rocks, or exploding insects that can penetrate one of the
highly pressurized coils and hoses and then cause serious damage to the Pontiac
AC condenser.
A faulty AC condenser can greatly affect the performance of the Pontiacs AC
system. This will cause the air conditioning system to not work properly and make
the cabin really hot especially when you are driving during summer.
